Orange County DJ Company Music Man Event Professionals was the DJ of choice for a corporate employee appreciation day luncheon in Irvine this afternoon, honoring over 300 employees. This event took place at the Duck Club located in Irvine.
The challenge with this event is that the company employs a wide range of demographics and they wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed the music and had a positive experience at the event. They weren’t looking for people to dance but if it just happened to be a side effect, they wouldn’t complain.
So we made sure to mix in everything from today’s pop favorites to classic rock, disco, Motown and jazz. We also encouraged everyone to come up and let us know what they wanted to hear. We were flooded with requests and everyone got a little taste of what they liked. So much that the senior executive staff at the company had informed me that the employees were ranting and raving about how good of a time they had and how they enjoyed the music. Mission Accomplished!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED INDEED!
Mark did an awesome job at our Employee Appreciation BBQ! Our 300+ employees range from age 18 to 65 years of age and I truly wondered how the “Music Man” would be able to accomplish our goal of entertaining all our employees; Mark was unbelievable. First, he is the ultimate professional. He arrived early to set up and was already playing music when I arrived 30 minutes before the start of our event. Everyone was dancing in their seats with huge smiles on their faces. I am a firm believer in having some type of music at all special events since we can all relate to music. Mark came up with the perfect blend of music to allow each of our employees to “relate” to the music. We have hosted this event for our employees for the past several years and this was the first time we added “professional music” to our venue. The results were nothing less than FABULOUS! I was bombarded by compliments about the music from our employees. Everyone wanted to know if we would be having the Music Man back again next year. The Music Man was a great addition to our event, and one we will continue to include for years to come. Thanks Mark for a FANTASTIC job!
